Parent Dashboard
The Parent Admin Console is your command center for managing the entire family task system. From here you can monitor all children's progress, configure features, assign tasks, and customize the experience for each child individually.
Accessing the Parent Dashboard
To access the Parent Admin Console:
- Log into the application using your parent credentials
- Look for the "Parent Mode" or admin access button (usually in the top navigation)
- Enter your 4-digit PIN or use biometric authentication
- The Parent Dashboard will open, showing an overview of all children
Security
The Parent Dashboard is protected by a PIN gate to prevent children from accessing administrative controls. Configure your PIN in Security Settings before first use.

Managing Tasks from Dashboard
The Parent Dashboard provides several ways to manage tasks for your children:
Create New Tasks
Click "Add Task" to create a new task with the following options:
- Title: What the task is called
- Description: Detailed instructions (optional)
- Point Value: How many points it's worth
- Time Period: Morning, Afternoon, or Evening
- Due Date: Optional deadline
- Assign To: Select which children receive this task
- Recurrence: Daily, weekly, or one-time
Assign Existing Tasks
From the Task Bank, you can assign any existing task to specific children. This is useful for maintaining a library of standard tasks (like homework, chores, or daily routines) that can be assigned as needed.
Edit or Remove Tasks
Any task can be edited or removed before its due date. Edits update the task for all assigned children. Removing a task cancels it completely.
Monitoring Progress
The dashboard provides multiple ways to monitor each child's progress:
Real-Time Status
When children are actively using the app, their status updates in real-time. You can see:
- When they complete a task
- When they earn bonus points
- When they redeem a reward
- When they unlock an achievement
Daily Check-Ins
At any time, you can view today's status for any child:
- Which tasks are complete
- Which tasks remain
- Points earned so far
- Progress toward daily target
Weekly Reports
Automated weekly reports summarize each child's performance:
- Total points earned
- Tasks completion rate
- Streak status
- Most earned reward
- Trends compared to previous weeks
Dashboard Settings
